Fixed wiring inspections (called Electrical Installation Condition Reports or EICRs) are often required for insurance purposes, when selling a property or when renting a property out. It’s also important for all businessess to have a current EICR to comply with their obligations under the Electricity at Work act.

Hannington Gilbert’s engineers are qualified to carry out these inspections and provide the required certification. If remedial work is needed to bring the installation up to a ‘Satisfactory’ standard, we can provide a quotation and carry out all necessary work.

We are also available to carry out regular Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting inspections in rental and commercial properties. This can also include regular quarterly or 6-monthly maintenance visits if required.
